Centreline Fabrications is a fast growing team of makers and creators based in East London, servicing the Theatre, Events and Construction Industries.

With our wide range of skills and experience, we can provide everything you need to create high quality sustainable scenery for your production.

We love engaging with the design process in order to realize the complex and exciting challenges that the Entertainment Industry throws our way.

Fabrication

Our talented workshop team are at the heart of every project we undertake.

Our Carpenters are able to adapt their work to meet the requirements of the project, whether that is touring Theatre scenery or a traditional piece of joinery.

We can undertake large scale welding projects in Mild Steel, and have reliable subcontractors for work in other metals.

All of our work is undertaken with the final finish in mind. Our highly skilled team of Scenic Artists are yet to find an effect or finish they can't achieve.

CNC Services We provide CNC and drafting services to other scenic workshops and fabricators, as well as supporting our own projects. Our 8x4 bed CNC machine has twelve ways of tool changing, opening you up to a world of possibilities.

Environmental Commitment

At Centreline Fabrications we are committed to a greener future for the entertainment industry. Following the principals of the Green Book, we approach every production with sustainability in mind.

Materials

We strive to use all of our materials in the most efficient way possible, reducing our waste output. All of our timber suppliers are FSC certified. We are constantly seeking and trialing new materials to reduce the carbon outputs of our projects. We source the bulk of our materials from local suppliers to reduce transport as much as possible.

Design

From Project Management all the way down to the workshop floor our team is experienced in the design, manufacture and reuse of sustainable scenery. Our standard level of construction is suitable for reuse, and we work closely with our clients to ensure easy integration into their next project.

Suppliers

We use green energy suppliers for our electricity. Any waste we do generate is handled by an environmentally conscious commercial waste company, who achieve a 100% separation rate for wood, metal and plastics and an overall recycling rate of 92%.

Transport

Where possible, we use electric vehicles in our logistics. Our workshop is located near to multiple forms of public transport and many of our team cycle to work. Our location in East London reduces the transport mileage for the vast majority of our projects.

Packaging

We are committed to using sustainable and reusable packaging for any of our delicate items. We have managed to eliminate all forms of single use plastic from our packaging process.

Premises

Our modern workshop is built to a high quality standard. It is well insulated and naturally lit, lowering our energy demands. Paint dries all year round in our busy shop without the need for heaters.
